Integrated Equalizer assemblies can consist of Isolators, Filters,
Harmonic Phase Shifters and Couplers (along with multiple equalization
functions) integrated into a single package.
APPLICATIONS: Integrated Equalizers
can be used for many applications. The following are just a few
of many possible combinations:
ISO-EQUALIZERS
Integrated with input and output isolators. These Equalizers
can be installed practically anywhere in a system while providing
isolation to minimize any adverse effect, such as frequency pulling
or mismatch distortion.
TWT OPTIMIZER
This combination includes an adjustable equalizer and harmonic
phase shifter, integrated into a single package. This allows traveling
wave tube gain equalization, while providing harmonic injection
capabilities for gain enhancement.
FINE GRAIN COMBINATION EQUALIZER
MICA can provide fine grain options
on linear and half sine curve shapes. This combination allows
system equalization and control over fine grain ripple.
BANDWIDTH: Available in bandwidths
from less than 10% to multi-octave.
FREQUENCY RANGE: 1500 MHz to 26.5
GHz
ATTENUATION LEVEL: Available in
1.5dB to 40dB ranges.
HARMONIC PHASE SHIFT LEVELS: 0 to
200° and 0 to 300°
FIXED TUNED: Integrated Equalizers
can be factory preset and sealed when field adjustment is not
required.
FIELD ADJUSTABLE: Integrated Equalizer
assemblies can be made amplitude, frequency, and harmonic phase
adjustable which will allow you to compensate for changes at the
system level.
CONNECTORS: MICA provides SMA Female
as standard connectors. Other SMA series connectors can be provided
on request. TNC and type "N" connectors are not recommended;
however may be made available by special order.
WAVEGUIDE: MICA offers combination
equalizers in all standard waveguide bands. (Specify flange type
when ordering).
SIZE: Due to the complexity of these
devices, design and size criteria can only be established after
determination of all specifications. Package sizes can then be
quoted and outline drawings provided for a detailed mechanical
layout.
